Are you a High School Beginner or an Advanced Competitor? If you (and your teammate, if any) are currently in your first semester or first trimester of web design (or similar) classes or have never taken any web design classes, you may enter either the Beginner or Advanced category. If you have completed any web design (or similar) classes, you MUST enter the Advanced category. Middle School Competitors Middle school competitors MUST at a minimum meet the Beginner requirements. However, middle school competitors may also add an audio, video, or animation feature. See Advanced Category for rules. |

Announcing the winners: Twelve (12) finalists will be chosen in each category. All thirty-six (36) finalists, their families and their teachers will be invited to the Virtual Finals Day ceremony on February 26, 2022. Finalist will be notified of making the finals on February 16, 2022. ADVANCED finalists will present their sites virtually to the Finals Day judges. ADVANCED winners are determined by combining finalist's first round score with their Finals Day score. Middle School and BEGINNER finalists’ sites will have been reviewed in advance. The six (6) top finishers in each category will be announced on Finals Day. NOTE: If MCWT Foundation receives multiple entries from a school, no more than three (3) of the twelve (12) finalists in each category will be named from that school. |
You must be able to upload your website to our server for judging. Cloud based authoring applications are not allowed if they require a set template to create your website. One instance of up to 15 seconds of ORIGINAL audio, video, auto-scrolling, or animation is mandatory for the high school Advanced category. It must relate to the topic.
